SUBMITTALS & SAMPLES
You will receive submittals and samples to review and approve. They will clearly document the products, the locations and the installation conditions that comprise the job.
We order product based on field measurements of finished windows. That is, the window frame system, all drywall and other surfaces should be in and final-finished. Changes in the dimension of the space by even 1/16th-inch can present issues.
Delivery can take 4-6 weeks for blinds and shades. Certain fabrics and drapery can take up to 12 weeks. We establish and communicate lead times as early as possible.
We get a projected shipping date from the supplier after placing the order. When we receive the product, we will call you to schedule installation. Ideally, installation will be before furniture is in place and before final cleaning.
We will identify any needs early on. These often include: access to windows, lift access and size, specifying mounting condition, adequate and level blocking, coordination with other trades (e.g., electricians)
Upon completion we provide a complete set of close-out documents covering the window treatments: care, operation and warranties.
